2. Check their insurance. All reputable roofers will carry up-to-date insurance and have a copy available for you to review upon request.
3. Check references. This is the best way to make sure you’re getting a local roofer; anyone can get a local cell phone number, but only legitimate roofers will be able to provide you with the names and phone numbers of people who are happy with their work. Don’t be afraid to ask them to see their roof. While you’re checking references, also check the BBB write for adverse reports.
