Epoxy is a mixture of resins and hardeners used to coat concrete floors in garages, patios, and basements. Steps to Apply Epoxy Floors

First, use a power scrubber to thoroughly clean the concrete. Second, fill in any cracks or holes in the concrete using epoxy gel.

It must cure, so give it eight hours. Now, grind it down.

Grinding the floor makes the seal stick to the raw concrete. Apply the sealant. Let it sit for 24 hours. Sand off any uneven spaces. Now tape off the walls and beneath the garage door. Apply the mixed epoxy along this parameter.

Using a long brush, apply the epoxy in four to six-foot areas. You can mix colors or use just one. It must cure for 24 to 48 hours before applying another coat. Next comes the top coat, and once it’s cured, you’re done.
